How to Create Email under Windows Customer Control Panel ?

You will be able to create, edit or delete email accounts as you wish. The following steps will guide through to create email accounts. You should download mails then and there in any email client such outlook express. We will not be responsible for any data loss at any time. Maintaining your email accounts properly will avoid issues such as spam, virus.The following procedure will help you to create email under your win2k3 customer control panel.


Required Information
--------------------
Your website's hosting control panel user name and password.

Procedure
----------
[1] Access your control panel at https://www.yourdomain.com:8443

[ ! Notes ]
The control panel url starts with https:// and not http.


[ ! Notes ]
[a] You must have port 8443 access enabled in your internet connection to access this control panel. Usually it is enabled, but if you are in a network and if your are not able to access this, please contact your network admin and enable this port.

[b] SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 should be enabled.

[ * Tips ]
You can enable SSL by the following steps:

Right Click on Internet Explorer.
Click on Properties.
Click on the tab named Advanced.
check the boxes adjacent to Use SSL 2.0 and Use SSL 3.0 under the Security Listings.
Click on Ok.

[c] Internet explorer version should be above 5.0

[d] Cipher Strength should be atleast 56 bits.

[ * Tips ]
You can check Version & cipher strength by the following steps:

Open Your Internet Explorer.
Click on the Tab Help.
Click on About Internet Explorer .

[2] Supply the user name & password .

[ ! Notes ]
The username for the control panel will be your domainname only.
[ For Example:crmcell.com ]

[3] Click on the Mail icon.

[4] Click on the Button ADD .

[5] Supply the following details.

Mail name : any name
Control panel access : check
Mailbox : check
Password : as required by you
confirm the same password again.
Mailquota : Enter the size of the mailbox [in KB]
If you want to redirect the mail then check redirect and supply the email id [eg:yourname@yahoo.com]
If its for mail group check the mail group checkbox ,then supply the email id and click on Add.
If you want to set auto responders then click on browse, select the file, supply the auto responder name and click on Add .

[6] Click on update.

[7] Repeat the above steps to create more accounts.

Supply your email id in Catch to address and Update.This must be an email within that domain .
Avoid using lengthy email id names.
You should configure any email client such as outlook express and download your emails frequently.

[8] Supply one of your Email id against the catch to address and click on Update.

[ ! Notes ]
Give the correct user name and password to login into your control panel.
If you try login with the wrong username or password for more than three times then your control panel access get automatically locked.In such a case try accessing the control panel after some with the correct password.

Log out properly.

If you access your control panel and left it idle for more than half an hour your session will be expired and you will have to login again to access your control panel.


[ * Tips ]
You might not be able to access your control panel if your connectivity is slower.
If you access as https://www.yourdomain.com:8443 it will take minimum upto 48 hrs to reflect from the time registration of the domain to access your Control Panel.
If your user name or password is wrong, you will not be able to access your Control Panel.
If your account is suspended due to excess bandwidth usage or server usage, your access will be suspended.
